The Dallas Wranglers topped the Baltimore Lords, 8-5, in American Baseball League action at Bluff Park. The standout performance belonged to Dallas pitcher and New York, native Art Stager. Stager, now 8-3, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 2, walking 2, and allowing 4 runs. At 46-32, Dallas is in second place in the American Baseball League Western Division.

Shortstop Mike Weatherby made an impact for Dallas, when he swatted a run-scoring triple off John Pardoe in the bottom of the third. For the contest, Weatherby was 2 for 2 with a triple.
