The Twin Cities Northmen beat the Los Angeles Pobladores, 5-1, at San Vicente Park. Starting pitcher Ben Hall was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. Hall got the win, improving to 7-3. He gave up 8 hits and walked 0 over 8.1 innings. He allowed 1 run. The 5th-place Northmen improved to 35-41.

Twin Cities took a 4-0 lead on Hall's 2nd double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which he hit off Dan Turner in the top of the eighth, propelled Twin Cities to the win.
