Stambaugh Leads San Francisco to 2-1 Win
Tim Stambaugh, who is a three-time All-Star, was terrific for the San Francisco Seagulls in his team's 2-1 triumph over the Dallas Wranglers. His performance earned Stambaugh rave reviews. Paul Wiley earned save number 6. San Francisco improves to 50-26 with the win. They lead their division by 5½ games.

Stambaugh was effective against the Wranglers, seldom allowing a hard-hit ball. The right-hander limited Dallas to just 1 run on 4 hits over 8 innings.

"I just tried to focus on getting that first guy out every inning," said Stambaugh.
