Knickerbockers second baseman Steve Wright left his imprint on his team's 7-4 win over the Pittsburgh Industrials. Wright was 2-4 with a home run, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for New York in the contest. Tim Fried picked up the save for New York, his 2nd of the year. New York is off to a hot start at 6-2.

With New York leading 3-2 in the bottom of the fifth, Wright hit a sinker from Jerry Zaruba for a 2-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Knickerbockers ahead, 5-2.

"Solid performance from our side," said Knickerbockers manager Timothy Widholm.
