Wranglers Get One-Run Win at Seattle
The Dallas Wranglers and Seattle Emeralds played an entertaining game for Puget Field patrons.

The Dallas Wranglers topped the Seattle Emeralds, 4-3, in American Baseball League action at Puget Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Dallas pitcher Steve Coomes. Coomes got the win, improving to 5-5. He gave up 8 hits and walked 1 over 7.2 innings. He allowed 2 runs.

Ron Mitchell had a direct impact on the outcome. Mitchell contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the sixth inning to put Dallas up, 4-1.

Mitchell called the win "a team effort."
