Traders Walk It Off for 48th Win of Season
A 3-RBI performance from Ed White, who is tied for 9th in the NBL in home runs with 14, helped the Chicago Traders beat the San Diego Captains, 7-5. Chicago has run its win streak to 5 consecutive.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Chicago trailing 5-4, White jumped on a cutter from 30-year old right-handed pitcher Jack DeWitt and hit a 3-run home run to left-center. With one swing, the Traders had a walk-off win.

"We had some nice at-bats at the right time," said Traders manager Larry Link.
