Packers Bag 2-1 Win
|
Cincinnati Packers starter John Stoddard led his team to victory over the Milwaukee Dairymen, 2-1. The left-hander was locked-in. Jerry Meek earned his 6th save in 8 chances. Milwaukee now owns a losing streak of 5 games.
The Packers benefited from a costly error in the bottom of the fourth. With John Hembree at bat and Cincinnati leading 1-0, the Milwaukee miscue allowed Cincinnati to plate 1 and take the lead, 2-0.
"We didn't string enough hits together to win the game," said tight-lipped Milwaukee manager Brandon Dudley. "Obviously."
