Quakers Rack Up 3-1 Win Versus Washington
|
Pitching was the name of the game in a tight contest between the Philadelphia Quakers and the Washington Eagles. Philadelphia won it, 3-1. Philadelphia starter Mel Hartman was in command. Hartman picked up the win for Philadelphia, going 7 innings. He gave up 1 run on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 3-7. Darrell Klug earned the save for Philadelphia, his 11th.
