Baltimore turned a good effort from starter Jose Rodriguez into a win over the Montreal Habitants at LaSalle Stadium. The final score was 5-0. The win for the Lords lifted their record to 46-32.

The Lords got a big at-bat from shortstop Mike Caito. For the game, Caito was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the third, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Baltimore a 2-0 lead.

"Jose is good at sticking to his strengths," said Baltimore manager Steve Read.
