The Los Angeles Blockbusters picked up a win at Corps of Discovery Stadium, topping the St. Louis Explorers, 5-3. On the mound for Los Angeles was left-hander Billy Duprey. He played a principal role in the triumph. The loss makes St. Louis 4-5.

Los Angeles first baseman Ken Frederick contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the second. With two down, he hit a fastball to left field for a run-scoring single. It was his 6th hit of the season and put the Blockbusters ahead, 2-1.

"Billy was bobbing and weaving the whole game," said Los Angeles manager John Trausch.
