Dairymen Earn Late Win
Milwaukee right fielder Ray DeCou made his presence felt in the 4-3 Dairymen triumph over the San Diego Captains. DeCou went 2-3 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs. Arnie Keilman recorded the save. In save chances, he's now 12 for 14. The win puts the Dairymen at 40-41, while the Captains drop to 40-41.

Had Cliff Bragg not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Bragg hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Dairymen.

DeCou called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
