Milwaukee Gets 5-3 Road Win
|
Milwaukee Dairymen starter Andy Campbell found his groove in his team's 5-3 win over the Cincinnati Packers. Archie Sereni earned the save for Milwaukee, his 13th. Milwaukee now sports a record of 33-48.
Champ Arkle had a big 2-run home run for the Dairymen in the top of the second inning. With Milwaukee leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he got a fastball from Damon Rutherford and swatted a home run to center. It was his 8th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Dairymen ahead, 3-0.
"It was a solid, all-around game for us," said Milwaukee manager Brandon Dudley.
