Dairymen Get Clutch Win Versus Denver
|
Well, that's how to end a game in style.
The performance of Reggie Bryce proved critical in helping Milwaukee beat Denver, 6-5, in 10 innings. The Dairymen second baseman was 2 for 4 with a double and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. Milwaukee reliever Antonio Cuadra picked up the win, upping his record to 2-3. Ralph Weintraub took the loss.
Larry Morford did his part for the Dairymen, producing a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fifth inning. For the game, the first baseman went 1-3.
"What a great win for our team," said a jubilant Brandon Dudley, the Milwaukee manager.
The defeat makes Denver 44-35.
