The timely hitting of Alex Robinson helped the Pittsburgh Industrials down the Philadelphia Quakers, 6-5. Robinson went 1 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 3 times for the Industrials. With the loss, Philadelphia sinks to 1-8.

Pittsburgh used the timely hitting of Bob Boyle to capture the win. The left fielder stroked a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Industrials on top, 5-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but he made it count.
