The Cincinnati Packers beat the Milwaukee Dairymen by a score of 7-2. Cincinnati second baseman Billy Muhammad deserved the lion's share of the credit. Muhammad was 2-3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Packers. Cincinnati pitcher John Stoddard got the win, upping his record to 5-7. Ollie Aldredge got the loss. The win puts Cincinnati at 30-50.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Jerry Anderson? The Cincinnati right fielder had a run-scoring double in the top of the second inning to put the Packers on top, 3-0. For the game, Anderson had 1 double and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.
