Burros Need Extra Innings to Top Bulls, 10-7
The performance of Tom Rosales proved critical in helping Denver beat Kansas City, 10-7, in 11 innings. The Burros catcher went 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs. The winner in relief was Mike Gresley. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 3 innings. He now owns a record of 7-6. Joe Hamby got the save, his 17th in 24 chances.

Guillaume Moret came through with a big-time hit for Denver. The right fielder smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the 11th inning to give his team the lead, 10-7. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
