Bluebirds Win Squeaker, 2-1, Over Industrials
Brooklyn Bluebirds starter Jorge Sandoval turned in a top-notch performance against the Pittsburgh Industrials at Allegheny Field. The result was a win for the Bluebirds, 2-1. The Bluebirds now have a record of 37-43 with the win over Pittsburgh.

Brooklyn took a 2-1 lead on Ed Blain's 4th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Blain hit in the top of the eighth, left Pittsburgh pitcher Ray Williams visibly frustrated.

"I liked his command," said Brooklyn manager John Meeker. "Jorge was throwing strikes."
