Starting pitcher John Gannon took care of business, helping the Denver Burros stifle the Milwaukee Dairymen, 3-2. Gannon picked up the win for Denver, going 8.1 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 7-1. Rick Morton was credited with the save, his 17th in 18 tries.
