Bluebirds Stymied by Packers, Foster
|
Cincinnati Packers starter Kenny Foster turned in an exceptional performance against the Brooklyn Bluebirds at Roman Arena, resulting in a Cincinnati win, 7-1. The 5th-place Packers go to 35-48.
Foster was effective for Cincinnati, seldom allowing the Bluebirds to square up a pitch. The left-hander tossed 133 pitches over 8.2 innings. He limited Brooklyn to just 1 run on 1 hit.
"All my pitches were working," said Foster. "They were all synchronized together in attacking the zone."
