  1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 R H E
Brooklyn Bluebirds (36-46) 2 2 0 0 0 0 0 0 2 6 11 1
Pittsburgh Industrials (57-27) 1 0 0 0 0 4 1 1 X 7 14 0
Bluebirds Tagged with 7-6 Loss
The Pittsburgh Industrials did just enough to sneak past the Brooklyn Bluebirds, 7-6, at Allegheny Field. Pittsburgh pitcher Dennis Jackson, in particular, had a standout performance. Bob Cole finished to wrap up his 11th save. The National Baseball League Eastern Division-leading Industrials have a record of 57-27.

In the bottom of the sixth, Pittsburgh catcher John Robertson put his team on top. With one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit his 8th double of the year. Brooklyn pitcher Dick Conway served it up. Just like that, the Industrials were ahead, 5-4.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Pittsburgh manager Vincent Wicker.
