Packers Stymied by Quakers, Jarry
|
Arnold Jarry, who is tied for 4th in the NBL with a 0.98 WHIP, was terrific for the Philadelphia Quakers in his team's 8-0 triumph over the Cincinnati Packers. His performance earned Jarry rave reviews. The National Baseball League Eastern Division-leading Quakers have a record of 47-35.
Jarry gave Philadelphia an exquisite performance. The left-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits over 8 innings.
"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Jarry said.
