Hawks Net 6-2 Win Over Northmen
|
Chicago registered a win at Twin Cities Stadium by beating the Twin Cities Northmen, 6-2. Pitcher Steve Papa was one reason why the Hawks triumphed. The loss has the Northmen at 4-5.
Chicago third baseman Tom Greenlee helped his team get ahead early. In the top of the first, with the bases loaded, he hit a sacrifice fly.
Chicago manager Mike Flaherty was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys played hard," he said.
