Due in part to left fielder Lee McGee, the Cincinnati Packers chopped down the Brooklyn Bluebirds, 9-6, in 15 innings. McGee was 3-5 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. Cincinnati reliever Chris Montgomery was the winner. His record is now 2-3. Bob Hill took the loss. Cincinnati now owns a record of 42-44.

The game was all tied up in the top of the 15th, until McGee delivered big-time for Cincinnati, stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off Bob Hill. The game-changing hit put the Packers on top, 7-6.

In postgame comments, McGee said he was glad to contribute to an exciting win.
