Industrials Improve to 50-35 with 5-4 Win
|
Rob Isenbarger was a major contributor to the 5-4 Pittsburgh win over Washington. The Industrials second baseman went 1-2 with a triple and 2 walks, while scoring 2. Pittsburgh pitcher Dennis Visco got the win, upping his record to 6-4. Miguel Jimenez got the loss. Ray Williams earned the save, his 12th.
Pittsburgh shortstop Chip Berry helped the Industrials go up, 5-4, in the bottom of the seventh inning. With the game tied, Berry hit a run-scoring single off Washington pitcher Miguel Jimenez.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Berry said after the game.
With the win, the Industrials have a record of 50-35.
