7-3 Loss Extends Los Angeles Losing Streak
Houston picked up a win at Sam Houston Field, bumping off the Los Angeles Pobladores, 7-3. Pitcher Danny Prentice was a major reason the Drillers emerged victorious. Houston goes to 7-2.

In the bottom of the fourth, Houston third baseman Wade Fields had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 2nd and one out, Fields stroked a run-scoring single to center.
