Dairymen Use Late Score to Top Blockbusters, 6-5
Los Angeles left fielder Ernie Ronnebaum was sensational. He went 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Milwaukee beat the Blockbusters, 6-5. By defeating Los Angeles, the 5th-place Dairymen improved to 41-45.

Milwaukee needed the clutch hitting of Tyree Davis to notch the win. The first baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Dairymen on top, 6-5. For the game, Davis had 1 home run and 1 single in 2 at-bats.

"You need to show up when your number's called," said Davis.
