Brooklyn Beats Cleveland as Conway Throws 7-0 Shutout
|
The Cleveland Bobcats met their match today in Brooklyn hurler Dick Conway. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 3-hit shutout.

In the 7-0 victory, Conway whiffed 4 and gave up 3 walks.
This year, Conway has a 4-11 mark in 17 starts with a 2.96 ERA. He has given up 110 hits in 124.2 innings, struck out 80 and issued 41 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .237 batting average against him.
