5-0 Emeralds Win over Hawks Evens Season Record
|
Pedro Nunez pitched a gem to lead Seattle to victory over the Chicago Hawks, 5-0. Seattle bumps their record to 42-42 with the win.
In the top of the second, Roberto Soto delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and runners on 1st and 3rd, the Seattle shortstop hit a run-scoring single, putting the Emeralds in front, 5-0.
"You have to trust that what you're doing is going to produce results," said Nunez.
