Lords Rally Late to Clip Dallas
Led by John Balliet, the Baltimore Lords downed the Dallas Wranglers, 5-4. Balliet went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Lords. Denny Boyd, the 14th overall pick in the 1963 draft, was the winner in relief. His record is now 4-8. The losing pitcher was Frank Dunn. The loss makes Dallas 46-41.

The decisive blow was delivered by Bobby Capps in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a solo home run off 24-year old right-handed pitcher Frank Dunn to win the game for Baltimore. The home crowd went nuts.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Dallas manager William Albrecht. "But we decided not to take it."
