The game between Baltimore and Dallas is in the books, despite a little rain.
Danny Fierro left his imprint on the 5-2 Baltimore win against the Dallas Wranglers. Fierro was 1-1 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The win was credited to Larry Diego in relief. His record improves to 5-5. Frank Dunn took the loss.
Fierro had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 1-1 cutter from Frank Dunn, he banged a 3-run home run to right-center, giving the Lords a 5-2 lead. It was the 5th home run of the year for Fierro.
"We're in a little bit of a dry spell," said Dallas manager William Albrecht.
The Wranglers, now 50-38, have lost 4 straight.
