Gross Goes Distance in 2-1 Win
Twin Cities got a first-rate effort from pitcher Gerald Gross, who frustrated San Francisco hitters en route to a 2-1 Northmen triumph at Twin Cities Stadium. Twin Cities, at 48-42, occupies third place in the American Baseball League Western Division.

Gross was effective against the Seagulls, seldom allowing a hard-hit ball. The right-hander limited San Francisco to just 1 run on 4 hits over 9 innings.

"It's nice to get the results when you're feeling good and throwing the ball well," said Gross after the game.
