Denver third baseman Alex Martinez was instrumental in helping the Burros triumph, 7-4, over the Milwaukee Dairymen. Martinez went 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Denver now has a record of 57-32 with the win.

With Denver trailing 1-0 in the top of the second, Martinez hit a sinker from Tom Rockliffe for a 2-run home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Burros ahead, 2-1.
