In a low-scoring clash between Milwaukee and Denver, pitcher Andy Campbell was a difference-maker. The right-hander earned praise for his performance in the 2-1 Dairymen win. The Dairymen go to 34-57 with the win.

The Dairymen got a clutch hit from right fielder Dennis Adams. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Dairymen.

"Tough ballgame, tough loss," said Denver manager Clark Anderson.
