Explorers No Match for Fontanez, Blockbusters in 9-0 Thumping
In an impressive mound performance, Dario Fontanez of the Los Angeles Blockbusters checked the St. Louis Explorers on a 7-hitter and held them scoreless.

"He was getting ahead of us and keeping the ball off the plate," said St. Louis manager Ray Fleetwood. "Fontanez kept us confused the whole game."
