Twin Cities Bats Go Silent in 3-0 Loss
|
In a low-scoring contest, Chicago pitcher Steve Papa was marvelous, enabling his team to nab a 3-0 win. The loss drops Twin Cities to 5-4.
The game was on the line with two out in the top of the eighth inning, but Tanner Latour didn't flinch. With runners on 1st and 3rd and Twin Cities trailing 2-0, Latour retired Darrell Miller to end the threat. "Nothing to it," said Latour, with a wink.
