Generals Sneak Past Northmen, 3-2

Atlantic Station Field was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Atlanta Generals and Twin Cities Northmen.
Atlanta turned a good effort from starter Bill Davis into a win over the Twin Cities Northmen at Atlantic Station Field. The final score was 3-2. With the win, Atlanta upped its record to 46-45.
The decisive blow was delivered by Matt Legrow in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off 27-year old right-handed pitcher Paul Whitaker to win the game for Atlanta. The home crowd went nuts.
"Bill showed what he's made of," said Atlanta manager Philipe Yazzie.
