Bobcats Reel Off Another Win
Cleveland registered a win at Lakefront Stadium by beating the Cincinnati Packers, 6-3. Pitcher Myron Baird was one reason why the Bobcats triumphed. The win was credited to two-time All-Star Joe Clabaugh in relief. His record improves to 8-1. Kenny Foster took the loss. The first-place Bobcats have won 6 straight.

Cleveland took the lead, 4-3, on Ruben Galvan's 2nd home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Cincinnati pitcher Kenny Foster in the bottom of the eighth.

"I was able to really locate my pitches tonight," said Baird.
