Bobcats Need Extra Frames to Get Past Eagles
The performance of Mark Bassett proved critical in helping Cleveland beat Washington, 10-9, in 12 innings. The Bobcats third baseman was 4-6 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. The victory gives Cleveland a record of 55-35.

The Bobcats got a clutch hit from catcher Kevin Musumeci. In the bottom of the 12th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Bobcats.

"Took some scratching and clawing," said Bassett. "But we got it done."
