Hawks Absorb 3-2 Home Loss
|
Seattle registered a win at Hyde Park Stadium by beating the Chicago Hawks, 3-2. Pitcher Denny Goldberg was one reason why the Emeralds triumphed. With the victory, the Emeralds upped their record to 49-43.
Seattle used the hitting of Roberto Salazar to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a solo home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Emeralds on top, 3-0. For the game, Salazar had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"I'm just out there trying to have as much fun as I can while I'm playing," Goldberg told the Seattle Chronicle.
