|
Seattle center fielder Dan Arrington made his presence felt in the 7-3 Emeralds triumph over the Dallas Wranglers. Arrington was 2-2 with a triple. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Carroll Reynolds, credited with the save, is now 7 for 9 in save opportunities. The 5th-place Emeralds are now 40-52, the Wranglers 48-45.
Arrington had a game-changing triple in the bottom of the seventh. On a 1-2 fastball from Art Stager, he banged a 2-run triple to left-center, giving the Emeralds a 4-3 lead. It was the 6th triple of the year for Arrington.
"Enjoyed this one," Arrington told the Seattle News. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
