The rain made it unbearable at times; nonetheless, the faithful who endured the elements enjoyed themselves.

The Milwaukee Dairymen went down to defeat to Jeff Munoz and his Pittsburgh teammates. The final score was 6-2, in favor of the Industrials. The Industrials lead the National Baseball League Eastern Division by 9 games.

The Industrials got a big at-bat from left fielder Don Keough. For the game, Keough went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 3rd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 37th home run of the season gave Pittsburgh a 2-0 lead.
