Northmen Win 4-3 Nail-Biter Versus Drillers
The Twin Cities Northmen defeated the Houston Drillers, 4-3, in 14 innings in American Baseball League action at Twin Cities Stadium. Twin Cities pitcher Jeff Jordan had a standout performance. With the win, Twin Cities pushed its record to 52-45.

The Northmen got a clutch hit from first baseman Juan Alicea. In the bottom of the 14th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Northmen.

"We ground out the win," said Alicea. "That's all that matters."
