Terriers Continue Skid, Thanks to Barroso, Seagulls
Behind a fine performance from Jose Barroso, the San Francisco Seagulls knocked off the Boston Terriers, 7-3. Barroso was 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the Seagulls. Pete Ragsdale picked up the win, improving his season record to 6-6. He struck out 6 in 6.2 innings. The losing streak for Boston has now reached 4 games.

San Francisco took a 7-2 lead on Barroso's 14th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Chuck Simoneaux in the bottom of the sixth, propelled San Francisco to the win.
