The performance of Tug Hollenbeck proved critical in helping Milwaukee beat Los Angeles, 9-3. The Dairymen right fielder went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. A key moment came with one out in the bottom of the fifth. That's when Hollenbeck hit a curveball from Larry Mitchell for a run-scoring single, putting Milwaukee up, 3-1.
