Dairymen Roll to 9-3 Win Over Blockbusters
The performance of Tug Hollenbeck proved critical in helping Milwaukee beat Los Angeles, 9-3. The Dairymen right fielder went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The winning pitcher was Dan Valenti. His record now stands at 1-2. The right-hander went 7 innings, allowing 2 runs on 9 hits for the Dairymen. Los Angeles falls to 7-4.

A key moment came with one out in the bottom of the fifth. That's when Hollenbeck hit a curveball from Larry Mitchell for a run-scoring single, putting Milwaukee up, 3-1.

"Every time I go up there, I try and hit a ball hard," said Hollenbeck.
