Lords Collect 4-2 Win Over Seagulls
The Baltimore Lords picked up a win at Mission Field, taking down the San Francisco Seagulls, 4-2, in 16 innings. On the mound for Baltimore was right-hander Larry Diego. He played a central role in the triumph. Baltimore reliever Kenny Wilson was the winner. His record is now 1-5. The losing pitcher was Paul Wiley. Baltimore is now 47-49.

The game was at a stalemate until pitcher Kenny Wilson came to bat in the top of the 16th. Facing San Francisco pitcher Paul Wiley, he hit a 2-2 changeup for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Baltimore on top, 3-2.

"Winning is the only thing that really matters," Diego told the Baltimore Chronicle. "If you can win without even breaking a sweat, more power to you."
