|
The Twin Cities Northmen used the hitting of third baseman David Davalos to subdue the Houston Drillers, 10-4. For the game, Davalos was 3-5 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The Northmen sit in 5th place in the American Baseball League Western Division with a record of 44-52.
Twin Cities shortstop Ross Clifford contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the first. With two down, he hit a sinker to left field for a 2-run single. It was his 9th hit of the season and put the Northmen ahead, 4-2.
"Solid performance from our side," said Northmen manager Jason Gudim.
