Dairymen Deal Bulls 4-3 Loss
The Kansas City Bulls extended their losing streak with a defeat by the Milwaukee Dairymen.

The Milwaukee Dairymen scored a tight, 4-3 win versus the Kansas City Bulls at Independence Field. Milwaukee pitcher Ed Davis held his own in the contest. The winner was Milwaukee reliever Dan Valenti, now 8-0. The loser was Ron Bargiel.

Milwaukee used the timely hitting of Ray DeCou to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Dairymen on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

Afterward, Kansas City manager DD Martin said: "Every team has a bad week."

The Bulls, at 42-55, have lost 10 straight games.
