Dairymen Victors, 4-1, at Kansas City
|
Milwaukee pitcher Keith Williams did his part in helping his team beat the Kansas City Bulls, 4-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Williams, the winner, moves to 2-15. He threw 7.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 3 and giving up 1 walk. Earning the save was Arnie Keilman. He's now cashed in 9 of 14 save opportunities.
Reggie Bryce, who finished 5th in the NBL in hits with 190 last year, had a direct impact on the outcome. Bryce contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the second inning to put Milwaukee up, 1-0.
"Keith pitched his heart out," said Milwaukee manager Brandon Dudley.
The win has Milwaukee at 29-68.
