Price Homers Twice in 8-1 Blockbusters Win
The Los Angeles Blockbusters defeated the San Diego Captains, 8-1, at San Diego Sporting Complex. Leading the charge for Los Angeles was right fielder Frank Price. He hit 2 home runs. The Captains drop to 5-5 and continue their mediocre start to the 1970 season.

With one out in the top of the fourth, Chuck Walton put Los Angeles in front, 4-1, with a run-scoring single. The Blockbusters went on to win the ballgame.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Los Angeles manager John Trausch.
