Pobladores Rack Up 3-2 Win Versus Baltimore
The Los Angeles Pobladores topped the Baltimore Lords, 3-2, in American Baseball League action at San Vicente Park. The standout performance belonged to Los Angeles pitcher and Commerce Township, Michigan, native Bob Powell. Larry Seger recorded his 17th save for Los Angeles. Today's win puts Los Angeles at 43-55, while Baltimore falls to 47-50.

The Pobladores got a big at-bat from right fielder Don Conway. For the game, Conway was 2-3 with 2 doubles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 2nd double of the season gave Los Angeles a 2-1 lead.

"You have to trust that what you're doing is going to produce results," said Powell.
