Generals Edge Toronto in Pitching Duel
|
The Atlanta Generals picked up a win at Dominion Field, courtesy of Bill Davis. The right-hander helped his team stop the Toronto Hurons, 1-0. Atlanta is now 48-48, Toronto 43-56.
Ed Mika, who is tied for 7th in the ABL in runs scored with 57, had a direct impact on the outcome. Mika contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to put Atlanta up, 1-0.
"Watch and learn," said Mika. "This is what good pitching looks like."
