Northmen Spill Hawks, 7-1
|
Twin Cities Northmen starter Ben Hall hurled his team past the Chicago Hawks, 7-1. The Northmen go to 51-50, putting them 4th in the American Baseball League Western Division.
Jim Thorman helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a run-scoring single to give Twin Cities a 1-0 lead.
"We'll try to build on that win," Hall told the Twin Cities Observer.
